Hello Ghost, Goodbye Wordpress

Well, the day finally arrived where I got sick of wordpress, sick of updating themes, sick of updating broken plugins, sick of the vunerabilities.

Thank you spam bots for finally pushing me to move to a new platform.

Few useful tidbits for you:
Export your site: http://www.ghostforbeginners.com/how-to-transfer-blog-posts-from-wordpress-to-ghost/

Download and install Ghost: http://www.howtoinstallghost.com/how-to-install-ghost-on-centos-server-6-4/

Then, I had to do a little magic to get nginx to work
(specific to my vesta cp) eg:

nano /home/user/conf/web/nginx.conf

Then in that file I did a search for my domain (davidthomas.net.au)
and replaced the server section with:

server {
    listen      my_ip:80;
    server_name davidthomas.net.au www.davidthomas.net.au;
    error_log  /var/log/httpd/domains/davidthomas.net.au.error.log error;

    location / {
        proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
        proxy_set_header HOST $http_host;
        proxy_set_header X-NginX-Proxy true;

        proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:111;
        proxy_redirect off;
    }

}

Obviously, replace myip, and set the correct port in proxypass (111 is fake).

Also, used this one to keep all my external links in place without throwing 404's:
